When Harold was the New York State Grand Joint Council President he asked me to read the agenda at the 2013 Council Workshop. After the workshop he asked me to be his recording secretary, but I told him I would think about it. A couple of weeks later I texted him to let him know my answer was no thank you. The next year he asked me again and I accepted the position as Recording Secretary for the Grand Joint Council. Over the years working together we grew closer together and have been together since.
On July 1, 2020, Harold and I went to the jewelry store. I saw this ring that I loved, I tried it on and everything. Later that day we were having lunch at an outside restaurant when Harold pulled out the ring and asked me would I marry him on his birthday. Of Course, I said yes, and he put the ring on my finger.
