Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our dress code is formal. We invite you to dress to the nines to help us celebrate our marriage! Think elevated and elegant, floor-length or midi dresses, suits and ties, or tuxedos. We ask that you do not wear colors traditionally reserved for the bride, whites (including patterns on white bases), creams, and ivorys, as well as bold neon or extremely bright colors.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accomadate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow those listed on the invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

No, our wedding is an adults only celebration. We love your littles but unfortunately can't accommodate them at our wedding. We hope you understand and come enjoy a night off with us!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Guests may begin arriving at 4:00pm, please arrive no later than 4:15pm. If you arrive late, you will have to wait until after the ceremony has concluded.

Where do I park?

Answer

There is plenty of on site parking for all of our guests at the Steam Plant.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have a block at Hotel Ardent Dayton Downtown Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dayton Downtown. We encourage that you book your rooms sooner rather than later. There are also other accommodations listed on the travel page if the hotel block fills. Please navigate to the travel page to find additional details on accommodations.

What if I book a hotel outside downtown?

Answer

If downtown accommodations are unavailable, we encourage guests to book one of our nearby recommended hotels. To ensure a seamless experience, complimentary Uber vouchers will be provided on the wedding night for transportation following the festivities. Once your hotel accommodations are confirmed, please contact Allison at your earliest convenience to receive your voucher.

How do I RSVP?

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at anytime by entering your first and last name.

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by May 15th, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you and you will be missed! However, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and therefore cannot accept late RSVP's. Please do not show up on our special day if you did not let us know that you were coming. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attending our wedding, please indicate that on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but can no longer make it, please let Allison know as soon as you are aware.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you, get ready to party!

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Our ceremony will be outdoors, followed by the reception taking place inside.

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?

Answer

Yes! However, the actual ceremony will be unplugged! We have hired a photographer to capture those special moments. After the ceremony feel free to click away!
