FAQs

Question

Wait - you're having a crawfish boil reception?!

Answer

Yes!! Fun, right?! This isn't your traditional wedding reception, so please read the following FAQ section carefully.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is: Your Jazz Fest’s Sunday Best. AKA: Wear what you’re going to have the most fun in!! Men are welcome to wear khaki shorts, women are welcome to wear casual dresses. At the end of the day, prioritize your comfort and remember: it’s a crawfish boil. Ultimately, we do not care how you’re dressed, we’re just happy you’re celebrating with us! Dancing shoes encouraged. Seafood boil bibs provided. BYO Tide pens.

Question

Can I bring a guest / plus one / someone not listed on the invitation?

Answer

No

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Hell no

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Of course! Please do not bring your own cooler.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The reception will be hosted in a residential neighborhood, so parking will be very limited. For these reasons, taking a cab or Uber is highly encouraged. Limited on-street parking may be available, but we ask you to please not park directly in front of the Barnes residence as we will need the space for our vendors.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through zola and the link may be found under our registry tab! Your presence alone means so much to us, but if you wish to give a gift we’d be most grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon fund.

Question

What if I don't eat crawfish?

Answer

Don't worry, we got you covered! There will be additional food selections available in addition to the crawfish. Please reach out if you have concerns regarding dietary restrictions.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

After surveying our out-of-town friends and family, we have concluded there is not much interest in a reserved hotel block. Please reach out to Allison or Emily for accomodation-related concerns.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

No time like the present! An accurate headcount is imperative for us to throw the best party possible. Please have your responses in by February 20th.

Question

Answer
