Our story began in the Byng High School band room — Daniel played saxophone, and Allison played flute and was passionate about color guard. What started as casual conversations between rehearsals slowly turned into a friendship we both treasured more than we realized at the time. Years later, we went on our first date in February of 2022, and just a couple of months after that, we officially started dating in April. Since then, life has taken us on quite the journey — including the start of long distance in May 2023. Daniel is studying music business at DBU with a heart for worship ministry, and Allison is at ECU pursuing elementary education, called to teach and encourage young hearts. Even while apart, our shared faith and future goals have only brought us closer. In June of 2025, we got engaged — a beautiful reminder of God’s timing and goodness. As we prepare for marriage, we’re excited to step into a life of ministry together — Daniel as a worship pastor and Allison as a teacher — walking side by side in God's love and purpose.
