Join us as we celebrate the marriage of Dan and Allison at Seacliff State Beach on Monday, July 27th! Our wedding is part of the annual Nunesapalooza beach day, so the day will proceed as usual with one special addition—a short beach ceremony. Feel free to arrive whenever you’d like before the ceremony! The beach day will already be underway, with people relaxing and hanging out before the ceremony. Schedule 🥗 ~11:30 am – Informal Potluck Snacks & Lunch (i.e., all day snacking begins) 💍 1:30 pm – Wedding Ceremony 📸 ~2:00 pm – Group Photo 🎵 3:30ish– “Stairway to Heaven” Circle-Up at Jim’s Bench (time could change) What to Bring * A dish or drinks to share if you’d like (potluck style) * A beach chair or blanket for the ceremony * All your usual beach gear for a relaxing day by the ocean Attire This is a beach day first! Please come dressed for a normal day at the beach (bonus if you have a Nunesapalooza shirt of course!). No formal wedding attire is expected. The ceremony will take place directly in front of our beach setup and will last about 20 minutes, followed by a group photo with everyone. Afterward, we’ll gather in the parking lot at Jim’s Bench for our family tradition: a “Stairway to Heaven” circle-up, where we’ll all listen to Stairway to Heaven together. We’re excited to celebrate this special day with you!

We met while travelling in Byron Bay, Australia in 2024. Dan was sitting at the kitchen table having beans on toast with his guitar by his side. Allison sat down with her ukulele, he picked up his guitar, and they started playing music together. Since then, Dan and Alli have visited each other back and forth across the world. They applied for Dan’s visa about a year and half ago and began the long wait while continuing to travel together and visit each other along the way. Alli visited Dan a few times in England, and Dan has come to California for visits. Along the way, they stopped in a few other places too, including seizing $25 tickets to Morocco for a spontaneous week-long trip, staying on the floor of a hostel and eating delicious cheap food, and spending the final months of the visa process backpacking Australia’s east coast and living out of a van together. Despite growing up on opposite sides of the world, they quickly realized they shared the same values, a few of which include living simply, travel, music, and the outdoors. Now the long wait is finally over, Dan is able to live in California, and we’re excited to celebrate this next chapter!
