What should I wear?

Answer

No set dress code. You can wear whatever makes you feel your best! Both the ceremony and reception will take place outside so please take that into consideration when planning your outfit. Church clothes would be appropriate.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will take place at a private family property in Winder, GA. Both events will take place entirely outside but in the case of rain we will have an event tent in place.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5 pm. To give enough time for parking and seating please arrive around 4:30.

Where should I park?

Answer

Upon entering the driveway of the venue, you will see areas blocked off for parking. Parking will be at the front of the property and the ceremony and reception are located at the back of the property. Golf carts will be available to escort you down the hill to the ceremony site.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Heck yes! We will be having BBQ at the reception so come hungry! If you need an alternate meal choice please contact the bride or groom as soon as possible.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We will be providing a limited selection of beer and wine for guests to enjoy if they choose to. If you would like anything specialty, feel free to bring your own.

If your children were included on the invitation then they are absolutely welcome!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are there hotel rooms blocked off in the area for guests?

Answer

We don't have many out of town guests so no hotel blocks were made. However, if you check the travel section of this site, we recommended a few great hotels in the area!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is February 15th. There are no mail in rsvp cards. All rsvp's are online in the rsvp section of this website.

We created a registry right here on this site. Please check the menu at the top of the page and click registry.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures of the reception on to their social media channels. Please tag each photo with our wedding hashtag so we can keep track of all of your pictures. The only thing we do ask is that you DO NOT have your phone out during the ceremony so that you do not interfere with the photographers pictures.
