Let's Get Married!

Allison and Cody were both attending WVU in the spring of 2012 when a mutual friend introduced the two at a fraternity party. They immediately hit it off and became good friends. However, it wasn’t until after Allison graduated in 2013 that Cody convinced her to go on a date. The spot of that date, Pies & Pints, would soon become one of their favorites.

In October 2019, Allison and Cody returned as they do every year to Savannah, Georgia—the spot of their first vacation they ever took together. While walking through the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market at Forsyth Park, Cody surprised Allison by popping the question in front of the famous fountain. One of the park musicians played a song and the local crowd cheered as Allison said, “Yes!”

Over the last several years, they have enjoyed many adventures together, sharing a love of traveling, trying new restaurants, visiting craft breweries, and cheering on the Mountaineers. They currently reside in Columbus, Ohio, where they love spending time with their almost two-year-old goldendoodle, Cheddar Biscuits.
