A global pandemic and two swipes right brought Allison & Casey together. Their first date was via FaceTime and consisted of a virtual happy hour. For the first few weeks and months there was lots of Central Park dates, to-go margaritas, and countless COVID tests. As the world opened back up the two bonded over a shared love of Broadway shows, hockey, Italian food and Billy Joel. Casey taught Allison about his love of film and his love /hate relationship with the New York Mets and Allison introduced Casey to skiing, hiking and sailing.

Casey and Allison were enjoying two oversized heroes from a favorite neighborhood deli just feet from the location of their first date. It was an unusually warm May evening, and as the park emptied out for the night, Casey got down on one knee and asked Allison to marry him. Through happy tears and lots of laughter, she said yes. Allison was particularly thrilled that there was zero witnesses to the proposal - exactly as she requested.
