Maid of Honor
Allison and Lisa met in 2008 when they both started working at Minuteman High School. They instantly connected and have had many adventures together, most of which include singing loudly in the car, befriending strangers, and laughing until tears come down their eyes. Lisa is excited to be Allison's maid of honor despite the fact that the dresses for the bridesmaids will not be red.
Bridesmaid
Helen and Allison met while teaching at Oliver Ames High School in 2014. Their love of long distance running drew them together as they both served as coaches on the OA cross-country team. It did not take long for them to become best friends and they have traveled the world together to Bermuda, Ireland, Germany, and Holland. They have many adventures ahead, but the next one is getting Allison down the aisle in one piece. This is easier said than done as both Helen and Allison are quite klutzy.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin and Allison met during their freshman year at Providence College. They went on a run together and when it came time to take a right or left out of campus, Caitlin was not sure where to go. Allison, who had already done a few runs, exclaimed, "Oh, you can't make decisions either?" Luckily, Caitlin did not give up on Allison and they became dear friends. They always find ways to laugh and have fun, especially when they operate under the alias of Natalia and Felicia.
Bridesmaid
Julie and Allison grew up together in Pembroke and Allison's Dad served as Julie's soccer coach. Unfortunately, his coaching did not lead her to a career in professional athletics, but it did prove useful as a pickup line towards Allison's brother (Ryan) in college. Julie married Ryan in 2012 and they have given Allison the two most precious gifts in the word: a nephew Weston and niece Brooke.
Bridesmaid
Diana and Allison met on St. Patrick's Day (practically a national holiday at Providence College) during their senior year of college. Despite their college days winding down, their friendship blossomed and they remain close friends. You will not find a friend more loyal than Diana and she always shows up for Allison. Sometimes this involves getting lost on hikes, island bike rides, or skeptical conversations with strangers at bars. But no matter what, she is always there.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlin and Allison first met when they both joined the track team at Silver Lake High School and have shared many adventures together. Some of these include bonfires at Duxbury Beach, vacations at Aunt Patty’s in Maine, and boozy bike rides in New York City. Kaitlin was also present the first time Allison met Brian’s parents and Brian met Allison’s parents. She has been a fan of their relationship since day one and will bring the fun on the big day!
Ring Security and Petal Patrol
Allison's two favorite people in the world are her nephew Weston and niece Brooke. She loves spending time with them while making art projects, chasing them on their bikes, and performing the "crazy waitress" character. More importantly, Brian loves Wes and Brooke just as much as Allison does. Brian has a special bond with Wes over the game "Minecraft" and Wes can always persuade Brian to take him to "Warmart". It is without a doubt that Wes and Brooke are going to steal the show.
Mother of the Bride
It is safe to say that Allison would not be half the woman she is today had it not been for the support, guidance, and love from her Mom (Terry). Anyone who meets Terry knows that she has a heart of gold and would do anything for her family. Allison is lucky to have a best friend that is also her Mom and who always reminds her to take a step back and join her for a trip to Dairy Twist.
Father of the Bride
If you have met Paul Cleary, he has probably told you that before Allison was born he had a full set of hair. However, sleepless nights, bad dreams, and many flat car tires did a number to his hair follicle count. Despite this loss, Paul will also tell you he loves his daughter very much as evidence by his attendance at all of her cross-country and track meets and his role as her financial advisor and accountant. Paul is excited to walk (or "run" as he claims) Allison down the aisle to Brian and very much hoping she goes on his phone plan.
Best Man
It’s not often you find brothers that didn’t get into frequent fights growing up. The early years were filled with countless hours of soccer or baseball in the backyard, including “amazing plays” which involved diving all over the yard to catch the baseball and some difficult laundry for their parents. In 2015 David and Brian ran the Hartford Marathon together, running stride for stride the entire 26.2. They became roommates again in Somerville when David first moved to Boston. Even if strangers no longer confuse them for twins, Brian and David share many common interests and are as close now as ever before.
Groomsman
When you first meet Ryan, you may not realize that he is Allison’s older brother. His stature is slightly larger than hers and he is a bit more laid back. Despite these differences, he is happy that Allison found Brian. He gladly accepts him into the family, and is even able to keep attention during Brian’s stories. From the beginning, Ryan and Brian bonded over their mutual love of craft beer and fantasy football. However, if the Giants and Patriots are matched up in the SuperBowl again it could put the brother-in-law relationship to the test.
Groomsman
John was Brian’s first ever roommate who was not related to him. Their mutual love for sports (even if they are rival teams) and a shared friend group ensured that Brian and John were not just freshman year roommates. After college Brian lived with John in Somerville, and eventually John even served as Brian’s landlord when he bought a condo. John will never live down the big bet he made with Brian during the ’07-’08 Giants-Patriots Super Bowl, resulting in John having to wear a NY Giants Super Bowl Champions hat around NEU campus for an entire month.
Groomsman
Throughout their years at Northeastern University, Corey and Brian were inseparable. No, really! They both majored in Health Science and shared most of their classes together. During their first co-op, they were working together full time at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary while also sharing a bedroom in a 3BR apartment. Despite (because of?) the extraordinary amount of time spent together, they became very close friends and have had many laughs and adventures together over the years.
Groomsman
Their first year at NEU Shamir and Brian bonded over scenic runs around the Charles River or heading to the campus gym together. Later on in college they had many fun memories together including hosting infamous “3 story” parties at their apartment (sorry mom and dad, we studied too). Brian and Shamir lived together for several years in two different Boston apartments, and are now close neighbors again in Quincy. To this day, Brian considers Shamir to be one of his funniest friends who always knows how to make people laugh and have a good time.
Groomsman
Alex is one of Brian’s oldest friends and therefore lived through his “awkward” years in high school (culminating in an embarrassing Backstreet Boys dance routine during the “Mr Student Body” competition senior year). Alex and Brian became close after playing on the baseball team together, and playing Texas Hold ‘Em poker with their group of friends almost every weekend. Alex also ran cross-country with Brian junior and senior year, and often came up to Boston to visit during college. Alex is one of the kindest guys you will meet, and remains a great friend to this day.
Mother of the Groom
Mary is well known for her sense of humor and goofiness, and her love for all things fun from dancing to party hosting. She is known best though for being one of the best moms you could ask for. She provided endless guidance to Brian in his journey to become a physician assistant. She is very excited for her oldest son to get married, and even more excited to welcome Allison into the family. Mary has said many times that Allison is the daughter that she never had.
Father of the Groom
Don is known for his laid back demeanor, sound financial advice, and corny dad jokes. For better or worse, he shaped Brian and David into lifelong Mets and Giants fans. Like Mary, Don knew that Allison was a good match for Brian from the start. To Mary's amazement, Allison seems to bring the goofy side out of Don (ask Allison about the inside out jacket story).
