For our New Englanders who want a taste of home in the desert, head north! Flagstaff is absolutely gorgeous for its trees, four seasons, and ski resorts. You can also tour the campus of Northern Arizona University, where Olympic athletes go to train and home to the Lowell Observatory for a stunning view of the night sky without city lights.
Sedona is a beautiful town of red rocks. It has a cute, small downtown area for shopping and eating. You can also visit many places for spiritual healing. There are hiking trails in abundance. Alli's favorite is West Fork Oak Creek Trailhead. Sedona is also famous for its Pink Jeep tours that go all over the amazing Red Rock Formations.
For those who want a full desert, southwestern town experience, Tucson is the epitome of a southwestern town. Home to University of Arizona, it has a vibrant downtown, but you can also go to the outskirts and see sprawling desert or explore Mount Lemmon.
Home to the Arizona Cardinals!
One of many casinos within a short distance of the venue, Talking Stick is an opportunity to gamble in an upbeat atmosphere. Golf is also available on site! Other fun casinos include: Wild Horse Pass, We Ko Pa, & Gila River casinos
For those who want a speakeasy experience (yes, the Wild West had them too). We love Crust, the pizza restaurant that hid the location of the Ostrich. The rest of Downtown Chandler is fun too! Look for the red light, down a flight of stairs on the side of the building!
