Arrival in Edinburgh

1:00 pm

Get settled into your hotel and please relax this day! We are reccomending guests get in no later than the 20th to accommodate any delays as well as jet lag.

Welcome Dinner & Explore the City!

6:30 pm

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Please feel free to explore the city during the day or have a rest day! We recommend visiting Holyrood, Greyfriar Kirkyard, Dean Village, or simply having a walk around the city. Our Welcome Dinner will be at Prestonfield House at 6:30PM for all guests. Transportation will be provided.

Check into Borthwick Castle & Rehearsal Dinner

2:00 pm

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

We will be providing transportation to Borthwick Castle, 35 minutes from Edinburgh. We will have an informal rehearsal dinner in the evening.

Wedding Day at Borthwick Castle

3:30 pm

Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required.

Celebrate the bride & groom. Cocktail hour and reception to follow. Timeline TBD at this point.

Before we depart we will have one last meal at the castle! We will once again provide transportation back to Edinburgh, you are more than welcome to stay after this date and explore Edinburgh or other parts of Scotland. The bride and groom will remain in Edinburgh until 9/27 before departure.
