It was your typical millennial love story... ... that started with online dating! It's a scary world out there, but we were lucky enough to find the love of our lives. She wasn't born until almost four years later, but good things take time. Our first date was on September 29th, 2014 at the Union Woodshop in Clarkston. We enjoyed delicious barbeque with bourbon cocktails (as a first date with any Texan should go) while we bonded over the joys of finding a person who wasn't a super-creepy-weirdo from the internet. After a year, we moved in together to our current home in Davisburg. Two years after that, we find out the best news yet - we were expecting! Bristol is the light of our life and we still can't figure out what we used to talk about before her. Fast forward six years and our first planned wedding date of November 2020 was looking pretty dire due to the pandemic. As a result, we threw a small, intimate Halloween party that turned out to be a *surprise* wedding ceremony with a Princess Bride theme! Now we want to have a big celebration with ALL of our friends and family! We will soon be moving into a beautiful home in Milford that we can comfortably grow into and spread out. Working from home, being together 24/7, and having limited childcare for the last two years has really tested us, but we still really like each other. That says something! (Extra thanks to Robin Garske for the help!) We're so excited to finally celebrate with all of you this Fall. We hope you enjoy the food, booze, and have a wonderful time in one of our favorite towns.
