We met on December 27th, 2019 — Not knowing that we would have just met our life long partner. That person becomes your best friend, the one that you want to have all your new experiences with, the one that makes you want to do your very best in life. Our first date was seven hours long (and the first of many). We just couldn’t stop talking to each other, spilling our guts and probably saying far much more of than anybody else would ever say on a first date. But that didn't matter, because it felt like two people that have known each other for decades that just had a LOT of catching up to do. Three months after we started dating, Covid hit and a lot of things changed, but we never did. We were dealing with a major pandemic, a long distance relationship, job changes and many other odds against us. There was a lot of things that could’ve made it not work, but we remained by each others sides — safe, happy and healthy. And now as we’re entering the next stage of our lives — with a house, two dogs, our careers taking off — we have decided to elope. It allows us to take ourselves back to our first date, where we feel like the only two people in the world. We’ve come to realize that our favorite moments are those that have allowed us to feel carefree, spill our guts to one another, and intimately, and together, take the next steps of our lives. With that said, we won’t bore you with all the mushy, gushy romance. We will allow you to just skip to the good part — party time!
