The future Mr. & Mrs. Remus

First, thank you for being here. If you are reading this you are so important to us and we can literally feel the love from all of our favorite people far and wide, we appreciate you. If you could guess where we met I bet you would get it right at first guess... on the lake. One sunny Saturday afternoon, my best friend Tara asked me to go on the lake with her, little did I know I would be meeting my future husband that day. Our first date was THAT NIGHT at Awedaddy's where Stefan proceeded to announce to the entire restaurant, "this is our first date!!!" I grew up on Kentucky Lake, have had a love for all things water since probably 6 months old. Even talked about since I was 16 how I wanted a man that knew "how to lake." And although I was thoroughly impressed with Stefan and his laking skills, the really good stuff I found out soon after that day. Our next few dates were similar, but on different waters. We kayaked on the Cumberland and had lunch by the water on Percy Priest. But Stefan and I had many more characteristics that we loved equally about each other more than just the water. He puts his faith in Jesus, loves his family, would give the shirt off his back to anyone, has a wonderful group of friends and loves sports and sunsets just as much as I do. Fast forward two years, we have been on so many adventures, experienced a lot of life's ups and downs, and there is no one I'd rather have by my side. Mia is finally getting the dad she's so patiently and lovingly waited for for a long time, and I finally get to come home to a house where someone asks me how my day was and is equally as excited to see me as my dog. :) Stefan proposed on June 16 in Lake Como, Italy (of course... it was by a lake). A day I will cherish and remember for the rest of my life. I think I can speak for both of us when I say we have hoped and prayed for this day for a long time and can't wait to celebrate love with our people! XOXO, Allison & Stefan
