Shane's roommate, Aaron, and Allison worked together at the college food cafe. Shane visited Aaron one night when Allison was working. When he left, she sidled on up to Aaron and told him to give Shane her number. Bored one night soon after, Shane texted Allison, and began talking. After a night of Kiki's Delivery Service, and conversation until 5AM, they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

While on vacation at Stone Harbor, NJ, we went down to the end of the island to collect sea shells. Once no one was around, Shane smoothly asked while on one knee, "I know its just a formality at this point, but will you marry me?"
