In early 2021 they both re-entered the dating scene and had matched on the dating app Bumble, after chatting back and forth for a bit they took things off Bumble and would chat on social media (Alexis wasn't giving her number to a total stranger haha). Neither one thought that the other had an interest past friendship and unintentionally friend-zoned the other. When Alexis started exclusively dating someone she let Chris know that she was no longer on the market but wanted to remain friends and he was very respectful of that. As the year went on they chatted and talked about life sharing updates on Mila and Raiden as they were so close in age and hitting similar milestones. They were both on the dating scene interested in the other but nobody saying anything, then one November evening while at a Friends-Giving things changed when Chris had seen Alexis Snapchat story, and complimented her saying "I know you have a boyfriend but respectfully you look absolutely beautiful." she then responded "Thank you but I'm single." and from there he asked her on a date and she pulled her friend she was with aside gushing as he was actually going to be the one she had wanted to invite to the Friends-Giving but he had taken Mila to Universal Studios that weekend. From there they had their 1st date on November 25 (Thanksgiving) after lunch/dinner with their families. He cooked her a delicious spread of food, they played hook and ring in the backyard, she met the dogs, and by the end of the night he asked to kiss her in their now shared kitchen. From then on they have been dating and on December 4th made it official at a Sacramento Kings game where Alexis had met 2 of Chris's best friends. They then went on to move in together, Chris proposed October 2022 shortly after they welcomed their first daughter together. Since then wedding planning has been slow going as they then got pregnant with their 2nd daughter together giving birth to her January 2024. FINALLY here we all are getting ready to celebrate their love!
