We're Getting Married!

Our love story started just like any other love story… except with a serial first dater and a 37-year-old man who was living at his little brother’s house. Actually, we can go back even further than that though. Back to when Alli was barely able to walk and Rob was a little kid running around a neighborhood they both just happened to share. Who knows how many times Rob rode his bike or skateboard past Alli’s front door. Fast forward 27 years later, Thanksgiving Day of 2021 and both Alli and Rob are doing what all young (young-ish for Rob) single people are doing, swiping left and right. Alli has always said, “I just really liked your face” and as for Rob “It was that bottom lip that got me”. During that first coffee date, Rob always felt he talked a little too much, but Alli always told him she didn’t mind at all. Neither were shy and as they rambled about the basics, one thing that they both established that day was intention. They both knew they wanted to marry someday and Alli liked that Rob was ok with having kids. There wasn’t any uncomfortable silences, and if you know Alli or Rob, you know neither are quiet, which made the 4 miles they walked feel effortless as they learned more about each other. It's been over 3 ½ years since that first stroll, and their time has been filled with so much love, laughter, and conversations about absolutely everything. From Rob winning Buttercups love with pieces of salmon, to them laying her to rest and saying their goodbyes together. From multiple trips to Europe to see bone chapels, to the many random conversations about chemistry or politics. Today, they have both grown as individuals and as a couple and couldn’t be more excited to start their next journey as husband and wife!
