*let's celebrate*

The big day was this past New Year's Day in Joshua Tree, California with our parents! We know, WE MISSED YOU TOO! So.... Let's celebrate this summer!! 07/09/22 is our Michigan Wedding Party on Clark Lake in Alli's childhood home! Expect a sweet vow renewal, fingerlickin' food, and of course DANCING!!! So much dancing!!!!!! And who know's perhaps a cannonball in Clark Lake?!! Our wedding on 01/01/22 was a truly magical day! We rented a colorful airbnb for a long weekend, hung lots of sparkly stuff, and ate some divine food!!! It was the first time our parents were able to spend time together and we could not have expected how well they got along, we were destined to be family! On the day of, our officiant Celene led an intimate, personal, and specially curated ceremony for us. (She is excellent!!!!) There was burned sage, disco balls, hand written vows, giggles a plenty, and of course tears were shed! We had our wedding shot digitally as well as traditionally with various types of film by the amazing Nicole Caldwell and Kip Roof (they are superb!!!!). It's hard to describe a weekend that really meant so much to all of us. We are blessed!!

We matched each other in maybe November of 2016? By the time we were dating in December, we were inseparable--except when Justin commuted on bike from the West Side of LA all the way to my apartment in Burbank (I think it took 3 hours??) Dedication!!! And abdominal muscles!!! For New Year's of 2017 we discussed each other's plans... I was going to a friend of a friend's party where the dress code was 'Pajama's or Fancy. No in-between,' I wore a brown velvet dress to match my faded rainbow hair. Justin's plans were to avoid all plans, stay in, and read. (What a delightful man!) I asked to come over after my party. So around 1:00 am I met Justin, hurriedly professed how much I liked him, and asked him if we could be together. To which he replied, "Sure." To which I replied, "Really? Like boyfriend and girlfriend?" And our fate was sealed with another, "Sure." Later I find out that he had told his roommate, Sam, that he was ready for a girlfriend and found me within a month. I thought I had manifested him but he manifested me! We manifested each other :) This past New Year's was our fifth anniversary and we were delighted to seal it with another kiss and vows to be each other's resolutions for the rest of our lives!!! --Alli <3
