After over 10 years as “buddies” from high school, Abe and Jess reconnected after both returning to Atlanta from overseas missions in 2013. Abe slowly but not very subtly (lol) began to grow feelings. Jess, however, did not notice and placed him in the friendzone. Even when Abe built up the courage to ask if she would ever date him, she flat out said no and kept it moving. A few months and many conversations with close friends later, Jess realized she had been in denial and let Abe know with her inconspicous line, “things are blurry.” The two had their DTR at a Downtown Taco Mac (of course) and have been rocking the jumbotron together at Hawks games ever since October 2014.

Millenium Gate After a brunch with her best friend Liz, Jess was led to an architectual landmark in Midtown where Abe was standing with roses and the ring in hand. There was lots of screaming and squealing, a heartfelt speech by Abe that neither really recall, and a taco + champagne celebration with close friends and family.
