What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that all guests wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. Please do not wear jeans, t-shirts, or men’s opened toed shoes. Do not wear white or any shade resembling white.

Can I take photos/videos at the wedding?

Answer

Please do not use any device to take any photos or videos during our ceremony. If you need to use any electronic device for any reason, please quietly step away from the ceremony. (Feel free to take as many pictures and videos during the reception as you would like.) We look forward to receiving our professionally taken photos and videos.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are trying to keep a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. If we have made a mistake or you would like to try and add a guest, please reach out to Aaron or Tessa and we will see what we can do. With that being said, we want this day to be about our love, and to be surrounded by the ones we know best.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, please refrain from bringing them unless they are specifically named on your invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us. With that being said, there will be explicit music during the reception.

What will weather be like this time of year?

Answer

We expect it to be warm during our special day. However, the ceremony and reception will both be held inside of the chapel. Cocktail hour will take place outside on the chapel grounds.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony’s start time (4pm). This will give ample time to explore the venue, freshen up, chat with other guests, and find your seat. Please arrive prior to the ceremony’s start time (4pm), it is of utmost importance to the bride and groom that the ceremony is not interrupted.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Unfortunately, we do not have hotel blocks for this occasion. There are multiple recommended places to stay on a previous page of this site, if recommendations are needed.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail my RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by 20th August, 2026. Feel free to RSVP here on this website or by mailing it back. While we understand that you can not RSVP as soon as receiving your invitation, please do as soon as you are able to. This will ensure an accurate guest count for our vendors.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have a registry attached to this website with items we want/need for our newlywed home and/or honeymoon. Gifts will be accepted at the wedding, via mail, or cashapp/venmo.

Our ceremony and reception will be held at the same location. The chapel on Sycamore 318 Sycamore St, Decatur, GA 30030

Is it okay to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Feel free to share photos from our special day, but please DO NOT take any photos during the ceremony. No phones or cameras in sight for any photos.
