Our Story
Jackson and Meagan met in May 2016 when they both started working at the old Sullivan’s Restaurant. At the time, they were just co-workers—crossing paths during busy shifts and thinking nothing more of it.
After another summer of working together, Meagan headed off to begin her freshman year at USC. It didn’t take long for Jackson to realize that his feelings were more than friendly. When Meagan came home for spring break in March 2018, he asked her to go on a date.
Less than two weeks later, Meagan returned to Charleston expecting a boat ride with friends. Instead, she arrived to find Jackson out on the water, holding a sign asking her to his senior prom. One month later, they were dressed to the nines and quickly falling for each other.
Jackson made things official on May 19th, 2018.
Over the years, the two have grown together through countless milestones.
On October 4th, 2025 - Jackson asked Meagan to marry him on the same island where it all began.
