FAQs

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We will be staying near the venue in the Garden District, which has plenty of options for hotels (Hotel St Vincent, Columns, The Ponchartrain, St. Charles Inn, Hotel Henrietta) as well as plenty of rental options. If you are interested in staying in the hotel block near the center of the city, you can book through this link: https://book.passkey.com/event/51080548/owner/107/home (transportation to the venue will be provided)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear cocktail attire! Feel free to dress up as much as you want, but we just want everyone to be comfortable and able to party the night away.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

No traditional registry for us! We've been building our home together for almost ten years and have acquired everything we need and more in that time.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If we know your partner, your invite probably included a plus one for them! If you think we may have missed you, please let us know, but due to limited capacity we may not be able to accommodate a plus one that was not planned for.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love the littlest members of our family just as much as everyone else, it's going to be a very adult-oriented celebration, and we want to make sure everyone can enjoy it to the fullest.

Question

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

Our venue is a beautiful hybrid space that is both indoors and outdoors. The ceremony itself will be outside, and the music, food and bar are right inside.

Question

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

If you're staying in the garden district, it will be a short walk or cab ride away. If you're staying elsewhere in the city, the venue is only a couple blocks from the Cadiz stop on the 11 (Magazine) streetcar line!

Question

When should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

Please arrive by 6pm!

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

There will be passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. Dinner will be buffet style with lots of (obviously) cajun classics, including chicken and vegetarian options. We should be able to accommodate any dietary restrictions, but if you have concerns please let us know.
