We got married!

Old Well Tavern, Simsbury, CT We were at a singles event. He saw me in line and we smiled at each other. And unfortunately, we did not see each other again until close to the end of the night. We were in different areas. Then I walked in from the bar area and there he was. Best looking man I had ever seen! I asked him to dance and we didn’t stop until even after the music stopped.

We made dinner reservations at J Timothy’s. It was the day before Valentine’s Day. We were behind a plexiglass shield at a corner table. There was very little room, but it was cozy. After we ordered and had received our drinks, Scott pulled something out of his pocket. And he handed me a small opened box asking, “Allison, will you marry me?” I smiled widely and said yes. We both tried to get up to go to each other. I walked around to him. The server brought us champagne. Dinner arrived and it was delicious, of course. It was a quiet, cozy and perfect winter proposal.
