Leesburg

Leesburg, VA

Leesburg was built in 1740 and housed the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution during the War of 1812. During the Civil War, it was held by both Union and Confederate forces. It was also the home of George C. Marshall, for whom the Marshall Plan was named. Today, is is a small city with a walkable historic downtown.
