What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Arrival for guests is between 3:00-4:00pm. Please allow yourself enough time to park and find a seat.

Will everything take place at the same venue, and will it be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place at the Detroit Yacht Club, an indoor venue which also has an outdoor covered veranda. No need to worry about rain, but having an extra layer handy in case the evening gets cool could be a good idea.

How do I get to the wedding venue, and is there parking available?

Answer

If you are staying at MotorCity Hotel, a shuttle service will be provided for transportation to and from the venue. Otherwise, all attendees must drive, taxi or Uber to the Detroit Yacht Club. Parking is available at the venue. The Yacht Club is located on Belle Isle, and a park pass is required to get onto the island and to the venue. Please see the "Park Pass" section of this website, where you can access a park pass to show at the bridge booth.
