This is the beach where Zane proposed. At this beach you can soak up some rays and walk along the pier. You can also check out the Big Red Lighthouse. If you are interested there are also options to rent out paddle boards, jet skis, boats etc.
There are so many things that Downtown Holland 8th St has to offer. We highly recommend walking downtown to check out the cute shops/boutiques, restaurants and bars. Some of our favorite restaurants are New Holland Brewing, Mizu Sushi, and Butch's Dry Dock. Around this time the Holland Farmers Market is also open Saturday mornings near the Holland Civic Center.
We love coming here for dinner. It is near Lake Macatawa and Kollen Park. If you come here during the right time you can also catch a beautiful sunset. It can get pretty packed during this time of year but you can always grab a drink and enjoy the view while you wait.
This is our go to spot for breakfast. We absolutely love their pigs in the blanket. Their sausage wrapped in a buttery flaky crust is so delicious. If you want a breakfast place this is it. They also just opened a second bakery shop right next to our venue.
Holland.Org said it best: Visit this double Dutch delight where you can talk with the artists as they mold, hand-paint, and glaze the only authentic blue and white delftware made in the U.S! Or watch the wooden shoe carving on machines that were imported from the Netherlands. Take a walk in the factory and shop for authentic Dutch souvenirs.
