Allie walked into the Red Sox Team Store on a rainy day in March 2015 for what she thought would be a routine job interview - little did she know she’d be meeting her future husband. Theo and Allie became friends over the next few months, with Theo regularly giving Allie rides home from work. The two eventually had their first date at Cider Hill Farm that fall where they enjoyed apple cider and donuts. Allie moved in with Theo after she finished school in 2018 in Watertown, MA and then they bought their first home together in April 2020 where they now live in Framingham, MA with their two cats, Max and Bruce.

Allie and Theo were on a trip to Nashville with friends in May 2022. They had just finished a tour of the country music hall of fame and were walking through a nearby park. Allie and Theo posed for a picture together and after the picture was taken, Theo got down on one knee and pulled out a ring! Allie was so surprised that she was temporarily speechless, before of course saying yes.
