Please RSVP no later than March 26th.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Rincon Creek Ranch in Carpenteria, CA (about 15 miles from downtown Santa Barbara). There is no parking onsite and private vehicles are not permitted so transportation to/from Santa Barbara will be provided.
We are still finalizing the timeline for the day... check back soon!
We recommend semi-formal / cocktail casual attire, but there is no formal dress code. Wear something you’re comfortable in—button-up shirts and slacks, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. Since our celebration will take place outdoors, we recommend avoiding stiletto heels.
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.
Yes! This is a family-friendly event :). But please be aware this is an outdoor venue and there will not be childcare services onsite so please come prepared to keep an eye on your kids.
Unfortunately, there is no onsite parking at the wedding venue. We have arranged transportation to and from the wedding venue for all guests. Please visit the "travel" and "schedule" pages for more information on the locations, pickup times, parking, etc. If you have any questions or need special accomodations, please reach out to us directly.
Yes! Private cars are not permitted at the wedding venue so we have arranged transportation for all guests. There will be 2 pick-up/drop-off locations in Santa Barbara: The Harbor View Inn (Waterfront) and the former "Sears" building at La Cumbre Plaza (Uptown). Please visit the "travel" and "schedule" pages for more information.
The buses have regular school bus seats and don’t have seatbelts or anything to safely hook a car seat up to. Small children are best to be on laps or just sitting next to an adult. Infants and toddlers are safest sitting with the parent due to the lack of safe attachments that car seats need. If you have any questions about this or need any special accomodations, please contact us directly!
Yes! Please visit the "travel" page for our suggestions. These hotels have been carefully selected based on our knowledge of local accomodations as well as their proximity to the pick-up/drop-off locations for the wedding day shuttles.
We have specifically selected a gluten-free menu for the day. If you have any other allergies or dietary needs, please let us know when you RSVP so that we can make sure you are taken care of.
Sunny and 70 degrees! Of course we can't say for certain, but that's the average high for this time of year (with a low of 50). The venue is completely outdoors so please check the weather beforehand and come prepared for temperatures to drop in the evening. If you aren't used to coastal evenings, the moisture in the air can make it feel cooler so bring a coat! We will also have heaters and fire pits... the bride hates to be cold.
It's sort of the "glamping" version of a rustic venue - you're out in nature but with more modern luxuries. You'll arrive on a paved driveway and walk across a sturdy wood bridge to the ceremony and reception area, both of which are paved/newly floored. There are other gathering areas, however, that have bark groundcover and you will need to walk on some dirt/gravel to get to the bathrooms (brand new buildings with electricity & running water) so, if you're wearing heels, we recommend wedges or block heels rather than stilettos.
