Steve loves to start out this story with, "I never wanted to get married," and Allie loves hearing the next part, "...and then I met her." Ours was as close to a real life fairytale as you could get - complete with slowed-down, breath-catching, 'no one else existed in the room' first conversations, late night car rides with heartfelt confessions, and documented, photographic evidence (thanks to our friends) of us falling for one another. It all started at work, when our CEO introduced us because of our common love of cats, and the proceeding nights spent surrounded by our friends always ended up with us together deep in conversation and never wanting the night to end. Within 4 months of meeting, we had both transformed our lives in order to find one another, and we've been deliriously grateful for every moment since. Our story has taken us from the streets of Detroit to the skyscrapers of Chicago, but we wanted to officially begin our life together back at the place where it all began: Detroit, MI. We owe so much of our story to the many people in our lives that we love (especially our Ascent Cloud friends) and we cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
