Rob I was hungover at a bar in Venice with my buddy, and this stunning blonde woman wearing a giant sweater and combat boots sat down a couple barstools away from me. As she was deciding what to order, I saw my opening and spoke to my future wife for the first time: "Try an Old Fashioned, they're really good here." To my surprise, she went along with it. We spent all day together, and time just flew by. I didn't even realize until later that I had completely missed the NFL playoffs. Allie I was kind of annoyed when I walked into The Rose and saw that Rob was in my usual seat, all the way at the very end. I sat near him so that when he left I could easily reclaim my spot. When he said the Old Fashioned line, I was fully prepared to respond with an eye roll… but then I got a good look at him and he was really cute. So I went along with it. As the day went on, I realized I was becoming completely smitten.

Rob I proposed during a weekend trip to Park City. We had just gotten back from dinner and were getting ready to take our dog, Stitch, for a walk. I looked at Allie and in that moment I just knew I wanted her to be my wife. I was so nervous, but I went and got my grandma's ring and asked her to marry me. Allie I knew Rob's grandma had given him her ring to propose, but he'd had it for a while so I honestly wasn't expecting anything that weekend—especially because it was a spontaneous trip. As we were putting Stitch's leash on he suddenly turned and bolted out of the room. I was actually worried because I thought he was sick, but then he came back with the ring. It was heartfelt and in-the-moment and perfect.
