Question

What is the weather like during this time of year?

Answer

Typically, weather is in the low-to-mid 80s and sunny. You can expect a pop-up thunderstorm daily between 2:00 and 4:00 PM.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We also plan to provide a shuttle to areas where we have a lot of guests (neighborhoods, the Corolla Village Inn). Parking is a .25 mile walk to the ceremony location, but there will be Golf Carts available to shuttle guests who have mobility challenges.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an a primarily adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception and cocktail hour are tented. There are restrooms on site. The tent can be used for the ceremony in the case of inclement weather.

Question

But really, what am I supposed to wear?

Answer

We're asking that everyone dress in beach cocktail/semi-formal attire. A dress, suit, formal romper, or jumpsuit all work for semi-formal. If you choose to wear a beachy dress, consider it in either tea-length or maxi to avoid looking too casual. Dressy sandals, chunky heels, and wedges are all great footwear options. While a jacket isn’t required, a breathable sport coat or unique blazer is a fun addition. Shoes can be a little more casual, but still need to be closed-toe, such as a loafer or deck shoe. Shorts and sandals are not permitted. Remember that we'll be on grass, so make sure you wear shoes that you can walk in. Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that folks are 30-45 minutes early to allow enough time to park and get settled. This will allow us to start on time. Remember that a lot of people are checking in/out of houses on Saturday, so there will be much more traffic than usual!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

Answer

While we would love for you to take pictures during our reception, please do not use cell phones during our ceremony. We will have plenty of photography and video coverage of the event! Our hashtag will be available before the date for your social media posts!

Question

What if my question is not listed?

Answer

Question

Should I bring my gift to the bride and groom to the wedding?

Answer

Because we’re flying across the country for this special day, we would prefer that all gifts be sent to our née address in Arizona! 15101 West Baden Street 85338
