Lincoln Park

Chicago, IL

summer saturday morning at the park!! start your day early w/ a fresh breakfast sammy at the farmers market as you walk through the gorgeous greenery and inevitably stumble upon the lincoln park zoo! its FREE! fun activity with tots. fun activity with adults. tons to do in the park. nobody wants to talk about this but chicago's lincoln park is over 300 acres larger than new york city's central park. argue w/ ya momma

Rotofugi

D'Amato's Bakery

1124 West Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60642

our favorite grand ave spot. small classically Italian deli/bakery with THE best caesar cutlet sub among so many other things. must try: lemon ricotta cookies (different from the lemon knots, which are also good, but... just don't let them put the wrong cookies in the bag).

The Center of Order and Experimentation

1727 West Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622

grand ave supremacy continues with one of our favorite shops in the city. all kinds of quirky goods from stationery and books to vintage clothes and Japanese tool boxes. they also have snacks and make a delicious latte :) when you see the inflatable guy you've reached your destination

Chick-fil-A

177 North State Street, Chicago, IL 60601

during finals week of our junior year at loyola, phil and I were secretly plotting to ditch our study groups and meet up for lunch. this was what we consider our first date!!!! at this very chick-fil-a!!! the rest was history. yes, chick-fil-a is homophobic, we've been knowing this! they also have a monopoly on the best waffle fry in the fast-casual dining sphere.
