What on EARTH do you mean by "Festive Attire?"
Answer
Is there a favorite fun dress you've been wanting to wear instead of the athleisure or jammies-attire we all wore during the pandemic? A zippy new suit that just screams "par-taay"? By festive, we want you to express your individuality and to be comfortable on the dance floor, all while dressing smart! For gentlemen, this means a suit or a nice jacket and slacks, whatever your hearts desire. Bermuda shorts welcome, if so inclined (you'll have to don kneesocks). Tie or bow-tie up to you! As for footware, dress shoes, loafers, AllBirds or Vans are all fair game. For ladies, this means a fun dress - long, short, or midi, or skirt, or pantsuit, you pick. Our only caution is stiletto-type heels will sink into the grass, so if you're afraid of ruining shoes, we recommend flats or chunkier heels. Is Uber/Lyft available in LC/Westport?
Answer
No. You may be able to get an Uber or Lyft in Newport or PVD and get them to drive you to Tiverton or Little Compton, but this is NOT a reliable mode of transportation. We recommend renting a car or sharing a rental/car with friends.

Will the ocean be warm enough for a swim?
Answer
ABSOLUTELY, YES!!! September weather in Westport/Little Compton is the best -- a bit quieter, cooler at night, but the water is just as warm as August. No wonder its one of our favorite times of year here. Allie loves a morning run and a swim around Elephant Rock, or biking to Goosewing when the wind is from the north and everything is still!

I want to bring my bike and ride -- or I want to go on a run or walk. Do you have suggestions?
Answer
YES to all of the above. There are endless bike adventures, both long and short. For a run in Westport Harbor, nothing tops "the loop," a square route with one leg by the sea. As for walks, there are a couple of recommendations, both on the Little Compton and Westport sides. Email Allie & Jonathan directly for suggestions.

Can I bring the kids?
Answer
With many guests opting to rent homes, we anticipate some families will want to bring the kids. If you choose to bring kids, let us know as we may be arranging babysitters and/or a "kids night" off-site while the grown-ups are enjoying an evening of dinner and dancing.

When are you actually getting married?
Answer
With the uncertainty associated with the pandemic, our plan has always been to exchange vows in a small ceremony surrounded by our immediate family. We're thrilled to do so in a place we discovered together and hold dear in our hearts - Big Sur. We are excited to share the magic and beauty of this place with our family... and with you via photos (see Photos at top bar) and video in September!
