Dorothea Dix Park
A beautiful spot for skyline views and open green space, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Explore the five Giant Trolls created by internationally renowned ‘recycle art activist’ Thomas Dambo. The newly unveiled Gipson Play Plaza is the largest adventure playground in the Southeast. Snacks and drinks from coffee to beer & wine are available on-site.
Pullen Park
This is a charming historic park with paddle boats, a miniature train ride, a 114 year old carousel, and walking trails. It's adjacent to Dix Park and our alma mater, NC State University. Go Pack!
North Carolina Museum of Art
The Museum features over 40 galleries as well as more than a dozen major, outdoor works of art in the nation's largest museum park.
State Farmers Market
The State Farmers Market is located next to Dorothea Dix Park and is a great spot to pick up local produce, crafts, and snacks.
Village District
Head to the Village District for outdoor shopping with boutique stores and cafes. Allie's favorite is the Cheshire Cat Antique Gallery!
Raleigh Beer Garden
The Raleigh Beer Garden boasts the WORLD'S LARGEST DRAFT BEER SELECTION! This Guinness world-record holder in two categories offers 386 draft beers daily! They happen to serve food and have a mini gold course in the back.
Morgan Street Food Hall
Located in the heart of Raleigh's warehouse district, this food hall offers a variety of local eateries and two full service bars. Nolan and Allie used to get "Sushi Burritos" here early on in their relationship!
