Question

What is the attire for the Welcome Party?

Answer

Cocktail Attire Men - smart casual or semi-formal, think khaki or dress pants with a button up shirt or polo shirt. A blazer or sports jacket can be added For women - cocktail chic, dresses or formal jumpsuits This event will be held partly outside. Expect highs in the 70-80s, with temps dropping to 70 at night

Question

What is the dress code for the Wedding Reception & Ceremony?

Answer

Black-tie attire is requested (tuxedos for men and floor-length gowns for women). The Ceremony will be outside in The Garden (courtyard) at the Four Seasons. The Second line parade will be held outside and then dinner and dancing will be inside.

Question

Will there be a Second Line Parade?

Answer

Yes! A Second Line is a New Orleans wedding tradition that celebrates the beginning of a new life together. This will be held directly after the ceremony and will followed by the reception.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes - Transportation will begin at 7:45pm from the street in front of the Four Seasons Hotel. Two minibuses will be providing shuttle pick-ups until 8:45pm. We will also have minibuses returning at 11PM. Transportation will also be provided for those going to the after party, leaving from the Four Seasons after the reception.

Question

What is the best mode of transportation in New Orleans?

Answer

Uber, Lyft or taxi are all convenient options to get around as ride-share is easy and affordable in New Orleans. The French Quarter is a 15 minute walk from the Four Seasons as well.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your kids/babies, the wedding is adults only - please take this a night to let your hair down and enjoy and dance/party!

Question

What are some things to do?

Answer

Please see the 'Things to do' tab for our favorite places to visit and ask us if you need any further recommendations! New Orleans has so much to offer and you really can't go wrong. The bride and groom also love to explore the Uptown neighborhood and go through shops and restaurants on Magazine street if you want to get away from the bustle of downtown.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please see the 'travel' tab for room-block options for hotels. New Orleans also has other rental options such as Air BNB or VRBO.
