We met through our good friends at a bar in Denver playing forbidden bingo (want to know what that is? Just ask haha). We met again 2 nights later, at Lost Lake bingo trying to win concert tickets. We bonded over discussing the rum ham and mashed potatoes we were making for Thanksgiving which was the next day, and the rest is history…

We started dating about 4 months before the pandemic hit. We spent 6 weeks apart when everything shut down, only taking masked walks because of the uncertainty of Covid. After those six weeks we knew we had something special and spent most of our free time together (what else was there to do??). We bonded over our love for frolicking in the outdoors, traveling, taking jumping photos, and cooking together. Almost 2 years after meeting at forbidden bingo, we took a trip to Alaska, where Michael eagerly proposed as soon as we got to the hotel room. Now we are planning a wedding around a pandemic (and luckily it’s the wedding we would want anyway)!
