General Travelling to Australia Information
Getting a tourist visa is a simple process just follow the link and apply for a tourist visa. REMEMBER TO CHECK THE EXPIRY ON YOUR PASSPORT EARLY. Please note: Melbourne weather in September is early Spring, fingers are crossed for sunshine but it might be a bit wet.

You want to fly into MEL (Melbourne airport located in Tullamarine) NOT AVV (Avalon Airport). Sometimes flights will show AVV as an option instead but it is significantly further away. The airport is 30 minutes from the suburb of Thornbury, where we live.

Public Transportation!
Public transport is fantastic in Melbourne (especially if you're coming from Seattle). We have heaps of trains and trams (and buses) to make it easy to get around. The train station that is closest to where we live is Thornbury Station. The venue is between Moreland Station and Coburg Station. We live along the 86 tram line and the venue is along the 19 tram line.
