Come in semi-formal attire! Since the reception will be on grass, we do not recommend stilettos.
Alcohol will not be served at the reception with respect to the Bride and Groom's religious beliefs. We ask guests not to bring any alcohol to the temple grounds.
Yes, we will be sealed in a private ceremony at the temple earlier that day. In our faith, a sealing is a sacred marriage ceremony that binds us together as husband and wife for eternity, even after this life. Because the temple is a sacred space, only those who are members of our church in good standing can attend. We look forward to celebrating with everyone at the reception afterward!
In Tongan culture, guests throw money during dances as a way to celebrate the couple, show generosity, and contribute to their new life together. It's a joyful tradition that represents love, support, and community. It’s not expected, but all are welcome to join in on the fun!
