Andrew is Allie’s younger brother, though most that meet the family initially believe him to be oldest. Andrew’s bold and contagious personality keeps everyone on their toes! He is very protective of his sister and has always been by her side. Andrew was friends with Kevin well before Kev began dating Allie. Andrew was slightly skeptical of the two getting together, but is thrilled at the outcome and can’t wait to call Kevin his brother! Andrew currently lives in Dallas with his fiancé, Kirsten.
Derek O'Donnell
Best Man
Derek is Kevin’s older brother. He is a man of the outdoors and is always on an adventure. Derek has been an idol of Kevin’s and always will be, whether it’s hockey, snowboarding, water sports or dirt biking, you’ll see Kevin chasing Derek’s path. Derek planted the seed on both ends, by suggesting to Allie and Kevin separately, that the two should get together and the rest is history!
Matt Hefter
Man of Honor
Matt is Allie’s youngest brother. He is currently living in Washington attending Gonzaga Law - yes, he’s the smartest Hefter by a mile. Prior to this big move, Matt spent most of his weekends sleeping over at Allie and Kevin’s apartment in Denver. Matt is sweet, kind, and always ready to join in on the fun! Allie and Kevin miss their third roommate, and can’t wait to have him by their side on the big day!
Nick O'Donnell
Best Man
Nick is Kevin’s younger brother. He has jokes for days and loves to talk with his hands. Nick is the youngest of three boys, so to say he is tough is an understatement! He hit the jackpot and married his wife, Lauryn, in September 2019. Allie and Kevin spend a lot of weekends with Nick and Lauryn whether they’re camping, snowboarding, rollerblading or “howling at the moon.” Nick and Kevin have been through it all together. They even moved to Texas to play Junior Hockey together and then both attended Colorado State University!
Kirsten Wehling

Kirsten aka “K” is Andrew Hefter’s fiancé. Over the last few years, Allie and Kevin have loved getting to know Kirsten. She is gorgeous, smart, and a saint for putting up with Andrew every day! Although Allie and Kevin’s friendship with K has been long distance, she’s become near and dear to their hearts. Looking forward to the day that they can officially call her a sister!
Lauryn O'Donnell
Bridesmaid
Lauryn is married to Kevin’s younger brother, Nick, and has been in the O’Donnells’ lives since middle school! Allie and Lauryn hit it off immediately (at a location that will not be named) when they first met through the boys a few years ago. Lauryn always said that Kevin’s first true girlfriend would be his last, and she was right! Lauryn is athletic, gorgeous and hilarious - an immediate best friend and now sister-in-law.
