Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space limitations at our venue, we kindly ask that invitations are only extended to those addressed by name or specified by "and guest" on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Can we bring our children?

Answer

While we love your little ones and look forward to starting a family of our own, we have decided to make our wedding day child-free. We hope you understand and are still able to join us on our special day. If you have a child less than 1 year old and would like to bring them you are welcome to, please notify either Allie or Kevin so we have a high chair if needed (if you have any questions please reach out to Allie or Kevin).

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire would be appreciated. Please keep in mind that our ceremony will take place outside without a cover overhead (there is a covered rain location if needed) in an area that can be sunny late into the afternoon. There is a pathway to walk but you may need to walk on grass for a short period, stiletto heels may be difficult at the ceremony.

Where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Garden, at the Gottschalk-Hoeger Rose Garden. This location is uncovered and can be sunny late in the day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. We would appreciate it if you arrive no later than 3:50pm so you have time to find your seats!
