Question

I am coming from out of town / Denver. Where can I stay?

Answer

Many folks will be camping near the venue, and we invite you to join us! We have a number of pre-reserved sites at Prospector Campground, which is walking distance to the venue. Please let us know ASAP if you are interested in these sites so we can save one for you. You can also reserve your own campsite (see suggested campgrounds under Travel) or choose to stay at a nearby hotel or Airbnb. We recommend booking ASAP, as Labor Day weekend gets crowded in Colorado.

What is the weather like in Dillon, Colorado?

Answer

Summer in the mountains can be unpredictable. Highs are in the 70s with strong sun (the venue is at over 9,000 feet in elevation) and lows of 35F at night. Please come prepared with layers and comfortable shoes. Heels are not recommended. The wedding will be held rain or shine (or snow)!

I'm camping. Where can I shower?

Answer

You can head to the Silverthorne Rec Center and pay a day admission rate ($14 for adults, $7 for children). This will give you access to their facilities, which include a pool, gym, showers and locker rooms. 430 Rainbow Drive, Silverthorne CO 80435

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

We love dogs! Dillon is a very pup-friendly town. You are welcome to camp with your dog if you are camping at Prospector Campground. For the safety of our guests, we ask that folks do not bring dogs into the Windy Point Campground area. Please do not bring dogs to the Welcome Party, Talent Show or Wedding Day Events. Our dog Luma is the only exception as she is part of the wedding party.

Who is performing at the Talent Show?

YOU! Just kidding :). We invite anyone to perform, and are excited to see the hidden talents of our guests! At this point, the Talent Show officianados have reached out to those who said they wanted to perform. But it's not too late! Get in touch with Allie or Keaghan if you still want to get involved!

What is a silent disco?

Answer

Silent discos are a way for us to keep the party going without making a lot of noise. Everyone who participates will be given a pair of high quality noise canceling headphones that will play music from one of three different playlists that the bride and groom have created. You will be able to change which playlist you are listening to as well as the volume of your pair of headphones, so the experience is customizable to the person. The fun thing about a silent disco is that you can see what other people are listening to as well - the headphones will change color when you switch channels. We have organized lots of successful silent discos over the years, and we can't wait for you to experience this one!
