Horseleg Mountain is a summit in Floyd County, Georgia, in the United States. With an elevation of 1,322 feet, Horseleg Mountain is the 735th highest summit in the state of Georgia. Horseleg Mountain is said to be shaped like the leg of a horse, hence the name.
Marshall Forest is located in Floyd County, in Georgia, 5 miles outside the Rome city limits. It is one of the few remaining old-growth forests in Northwest Georgia. Marshall Forest is referred to as the only virgin forest within city limits of any city in the USA. The forest is 311 acres.
Built in 1871, the Clock Tower is one of the oldest landmarks in the city. The Clock Tower is located at the summit of Clock Tower Hill one of the Seven Hills of Rome. Fun place to picnic with some gorgeous views!
