Cattle Drive

Cattle Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76179

The Old West comes to life before your eyes during the world's only twice-daily cattle drive presented by the Fort Worth Herd. Real Texas cowhands drive a herd of Texas longhorns down East Exchange Avenue in the Stockyards National Historic District every day at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Every detail of the cattle drive—from the saddles and chaps to the boots and hats – is authentic and historically true.

Cowtown Coliseum

121 East Exchange Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76164

Built in 1907 Cowtown Coliseum is recorded as a Texas Historical Landmark. It later became the home of the world’s first indoor rodeo in 1918, continuing every Friday and Saturday as the Stockyards Championship Rodeo. The Stockyards Championship Rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum is currently the world’s only year-round rodeo. In addition to the rodeo, Professional Bull Riding (PBR) happens on Thursdays, and Ultimate Bullfighters on Sundays. Allie thinks she's been to about 5 Championship Rodeos here - she would definitely recommend, they put on a great show!

This is our favorite watering hole in Fort Worth. We had a couple of our earliest dates here. They have craft beers and cocktails on tap, made in-house. The atmosphere and the live music are always the best!
