We first met in 2014 at Tufts University (Allie's freshman fall, John's sophomore) doing sketch comedy - John cast Allie in her very first sketch in Major: Undecided Sketch Comedy. We've been laughing together most days since then! We were good friends for three years before we finally started dating in the fall of 2017.

We've been living in Brighton, our favorite neighborhood in Boston, for a few years now. We share our apartment with our gerbil, Lise, who is a real-life pandemic pet love story. Since John moved back to Boston in 2018, he has been building big data products for a living and making music the rest of the time. Allie got her Master's in Public Health, and is working at a small public health consulting firm. We have loved sharing a cozy home office/home gym/recording studio for the past 18 months!

John surprised Allie with a proposal at a concert in Cambridge at one of their favorite venues - the Sinclair. We love live music, and it was our first concert post-COVID. The band was And The Kids (one of our favorites!), and they called us onstage for a planned "magic trick" that John coordinated with the band. Then he got down on one knee, and the whole crowd celebrated with us!
