Eric and Allie met in August 2020. Allie was visiting her parents often due to living alone during COVID and Eric had just accepted a job in Amarillo. They knew they liked each other, but weren’t sure if it would work out logistically. After a couple of leaps of faith (e.g. Allie moving back to Amarillo and Eric staying longer than he would’ve liked), they are getting married!

It was Super Bowl Sunday, and since Eric wasn’t particularly concerned about the outcome of the game, he was able to focus part of his mind on what some would consider bigger things… asking Allie to marry him. They were in their driveway with Super Bowl party leftovers in Allie’s lap (thanks Uncle Scott), and Eric told Allie he was NOT ready to get married. After Allie’s heart dropped out of her chest, Eric decided to clarify that he was ready to get engaged, though. Allie loved the proposal and agreed immediately.

Sefi and Darrow are Eric and Allie’s dogs whom they love very much! They are full of a little too much love for a wedding (according Allie’s parents… and also the rules), so they will not get to celebrate with everyone. They play a key role in bringing Allie and Eric love and joy every day, so a picture of the puppies was provided to bring that love and joy into the marriage celebration, too.
