FAQs & Attire

The Wedding Website of Alexandria Rae Hitchcock and Devin Edward Schwehr
Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Mountain Formal - This attire blends elevated elegance with the natural beauty of a mountain setting. Guests are encouraged to wear nice, wedding-appropriate attire—such as floor-length or midi dresses, and for men, a suit, or nice pants paired with a blazer—Please be mindful when choosing footwear as the ceremony is on rocky terrain. Make sure to bring a jacket or wrap as mountain evenings tend to cool down quickly.

Question

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

Although we cherish your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding day an adults-only celebration. Our hope is to create an intimate, relaxed evening where everyone can fully enjoy the moment. Thank you so much for understanding and celebrating with us.

Question

How do we get to the top of the Mountain for the Ceremony?

Answer

Guests will ascend via a 20 minute scenic chairlift adventure, offering breathtaking views along the way. Please be mindful of your footwear, as shoes will need to strap on securely for the ride. Once at the top, you’ll encounter some uneven terrain, so comfortable, sturdy shoes are recommended.

Question

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOOR OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be covered but outdoors. The temperature tends to drop at night so you will want to bring something cozy to throw on once the sun goes down!

Question

When's the best time to make lodging reservations?

Answer

The sooner, the better! Since our wedding falls on Labor Day weekend and McCall is in peak tourist season, we strongly recommend reserving your lodging as soon as you're able to ensure the best availability.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you were given a plus one it will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions.
