Our journey began in 2018, when we both moved to Halifax to pursue our Master’s in Occupational Therapy. We spent two years in the same friend group — sharing countless memories with our friends, without realizing that something much more special was waiting for us. Just before graduation in the summer of 2020, we went on our first date... which quickly turned into something neither of us expected - a deep, instant connection. We spent two whirlwind months together in Halifax before Devin moved to Labrador for his first job, and Allie stayed behind to begin her career. We had planned to do long distance for a year, but after nine months apart, Devin made a big (and very romantic) decision: he quit his job and moved back to Halifax to be with Allie. We moved into our first apartment, built a life together filled with concerts, road trips, cozy nights in, and time spent with our favourite people. In 2023, we officially put down roots and bought our first home—something we dreamed about and worked toward together. We planned our first big trip together for the Spring of 2024 - two weeks in Italy! Devin pulled off a huge surprise when got down on one knee on our very first night and asked Allie to spend together forever. We've been enjoying planning an intimate wedding to celebrate our love story with all of our favourite people. We can't wait to see you!
