We embarked on a beautiful adventure to Cozumel with my wonderful grandparents. A day of good food, amazing company, and the most beautiful water you could ever imagine. We made our way to the free tacos and drinks and laughed the day away. My nana and I took part in the tequila tasting while David and Bubba somehow found time to put together the most grand proposal I could have ever imagined. With the help of our tour guide, Miguel, they all prepared and set up the most important question David would ever ask me in our lives. While he got down on one knee, Bubba kept me distracted, looking off into the beautiful waters. I turned around and saw the rest of my life right in front of me, my better half, tears in his eyes, asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. “I do, I do, I do!” I couldn’t come up with any other words; he left me speechless. My best friend till the end. Knowing how important my grandparents are to me, he made sure they got to be a part of it. The rest is history… and yet to come.
