The ceremony and reception will be held at the beautiful Whiteface Club & Resort. If you'd like to stay on the property, there are a variety of accommodations available, including condos, houses, and apartments, which can be booked independently through VRBO.

What is the best way to get to Lake Placid?

For those who are able we highly suggest driving to Lake Placid. There are no major airports within a 2 hour drive from Lake Placid and little public transit in the area. For those who will need to fly in and drive we suggest the following airports: Plattsburgh International, Albany International, Syracuse International and Adirondack Regional Airport. Farther options include NYC major airports (5 1/2 hour drive), Ottawa,Ontario (3 hour drive), or Burlington, VT (2 hr drive). A rental car would be needed to get to Lake Placid should you be flying in!

How's the weather up there? What should I pack?

The Fall starts early in Lake Placid! September is peak foliage season so pack accordingly. Layers always come in handy and you can expect nights to be a little chilly. We encourage you to check the weather beforehand as rain is always a possibility.
