Due to the nature of it being a small venue, unfortunately we have a tight headcount, so only the people listed on the invite are those who are invited. No other +1's will be given. <3333
We really want everyone to be comfortable expressing who they are, however if you wish to partake, would love to make it a "black tie" affair. But by that.. we mean that we hope you will have fun dressing up and really make it a chance to wear something out of the norm for you. For more info and a link to a moodboard- visit the SCHEDULE tab!
We are working with a taco truck to have at the reception venue for food for the evening. We also will have charcuterie/handhelds inside throughout the evening available. The truck is only gluten friendly, not fully gluten free as they don't have the room to have a dedicated work station. But we will make sure to have gluten free option available. And vegetarian options are available thru the truck. Just to note- there is no formal sit down dinner, we're partying all night long.
We love our venue we picked out and it just feels right and like us. That being said, there is a small set of stairs with 3-4 steps to get into the venue. Once inside, the main space is the downstairs where most people will be, however there is also a small upstairs to the venue that will probably be a little quieter/a good place to take a break and get off your feet. Speaking of getting off your feet, there will be tables and chairs upstairs as well as a limited amount of tables and chairs downstairs available to sit at from time to time but no formal sit down dinner (aka there won't be 1 seat for every guest). The vibes: Vendetta is an amazing coffee bar in the Walker's Point neighborhood of Milwaukee. There's exposed brick, wood beams, and an adorable bar area. So.. yeah the vibes are great. The front windows also open up to the street and since it will be end of September when the event takes place, the weather should be on our side. The venue is also working on building out a deck area out front that guests can utilize to eat from the taco truck, smoke cigars (the managers suggestion), or just get some fresh air.
Vendetta is a coffee bar so they offer coffee and alcoholic beverages. They also have decaf as an option for those of us who can't tolerate caffeine... or the larger majority of people who would want it just because it's evening. For cocktails, they are known for their Espresso Martini (duh, it's a coffee bar) and Allie's personal fave, the spritz (they have a few different options). They also have some tried and true classics as well as seasonal drinks available. If you don't like a cocktail, there are limited beers and wine available. It IS open bar! For non alcoholic options- coke and sprite, rishi tea, San Pellegrino sodas, and of course COFFEE will be available all night long.
The wedding is taking place the afternoon/evening of September 20th, however we advise everyone try to arrive Friday morning/afternoon before (the 19th). We are planning on having a welcome party in place of a rehearsal dinner and everyone is invited. Stay tuned for more info there.
NO! Just us baby <3
We are looking into this so will update the website accordingly but likely no. We have a list of recommended hotels on the Travel tab to reference. But our #1 pick is the Iron Horse Hotel or Kimpton Journeyman which is just a little farther away.
Also still working out this one.. be patient with us friends. It will be before the reception, potentially at a church but one step at a time.
